October 2024. Review of a patients companion. Really really exceptional care for the patients as far as I could see. My own patients were very happy with their care. Basic English is available - enough to get you through. Interpreters are there during the days for more detailed conversations. The sofa bed was very comfortable. Using your own login details from back home you can access subscription streaming services on the tv. Cleaners on hand at all times for any accidents. Plenty of cafes, pharmacies, hair dressers, convenience shops and kebab shops within a few seconds walk, but other than that this particular hospital is not very close to anything other than a park. I managed a few nights stay at the My Way Delux Hotel as part of the trip and left a separate review there. It’s a solid 20-30 minute walk away. Pictures attached include the walk between hospital and hotel. The hotel is then located right in the middle of town for better access to shops, restaurants, market (which was like something out of a movie) and the seafront. Booking direct with the hospital for elective surgeries gives you access to translators and hotel, without paying someone a few hundred quid for the privilege. I’d recommend companions get out and about using Google maps like I did because as much as we are there to keep our patient company, it does get very boring. Happy to answer any questions potential patients or companions might have.

One of the cleanest, most professional, courteous and solution-oriented hospitals in İzmir. I received an immediate solution to my health problem. My doctor Dr. Serkan Zengin was an asset with his calm and professional manner. Mrs. Ayla Ergül also accompanied us at every stage of the operation. I had a gastric sleeve done by dr mehmet dniz and he was amazing! The surgery was so smooth with no issues or complications. Victor who was my coordinator was amazing and so helpful and made me feel so safe. Everyone was so helpful and really friendly.

Having returned from Turkey post gastric sleeve I have had time to reflect and assess the whole Journey. The hospital , the hotel , the staff , the consultants all could not thank them enough. So professional, caring and courteous despite language barriers. The care I received throughout was amazing. my Surgeon Dr Mehmet Deniz was high skilled and personal which made me feel at ease. I have had a fast recovery so far. Few shout outs to Afaf, Victor, Ceren who go above and beyond to help with anything you need.
