I had a fantastic experience at DENTSUN Dental Clinic Izmir Turkey ! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. The clinic itself is modern, clean, and well-equipped with the latest technology, which made me feel confident I was in good hands. I had a full-mouth restoration with 12 implants in both my upper and lower jaw, and I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. The entire process was handled with such care and expertise, and the team made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. I’m already seeing amazing improvements, and I’m looking forward to returning in August to complete my treatment. What made the experience even better was how well they organized everything. They arranged my transport from the airport to my hotel, and provided daily transportation between the hotel and the clinic, making the whole trip completely stress-free. Their attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend DENTSUN to anyone looking for quality dental care in a friendly and stress-free environment. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my dental needs!

I had such a wonderful experience at Dentsun Dental Clinic! From start to finish everything was handled with great care and professionalism. A special thank you to Dr. Aycan not only is she incredibly kind and knowledgeable but she also went above and beyond to make feel at home. The boat trip she organized was a complete surprise and truly made my visit unforgettable. I felt like I was on holiday rather than coming for dental treatment. If you are nervous about dental work abroad dont be. The team here is fantastic and I genuinely couldnt be happier with the results. Highly recommended!

IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH, TIME, AND SANITY — STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC. I chose this clinic based on its location, before/after photos, and how professional everything looked online. But reality hit me the moment I arrived. To get to the clinic, you have to walk through dangerous slum-like areas, and I genuinely feared for my personal safety on the way there. My hotel was right next to a cemetery, and terrifying noises kept me awake for days. I was mentally and physically exhausted even before the procedure began. When I arrived at the clinic, I was shocked. The space was tiny — barely 70 square meters, and completely lacking proper hygiene. The reality looked nothing like the polished photos online. The woman at the front desk was chewing gum and acted very unprofessional as she took my money with no explanation. When I asked for an invoice, she casually replied, "Not everything in Turkey comes with a receipt." At that point, I still hadn’t seen a single doctor — just a basic X-ray. Inside the clinic, there was a woman constantly yelling at everyone, later introduced to me as the owner. She was smoking inside the clinic, openly and shamelessly. She arrived with what was clearly a trainee dentist. I had come for a smile makeover, but it became clear that the procedure would be done by this trainee. Although he seemed well-meaning, his lack of skill and experience were obvious. During the procedure, one of my teeth was broken from the root, and despite that, they continued to work on top of it. Now I am suffering from severe pain, and when I contacted the clinic, they told me I’d need to pay again if I wanted anything redone. Dentsun Dental Clinic is a trap built on fake images and empty promises. There is no hygiene, no professionalism, and no respect for basic patient rights. Coming here was one of the worst decisions of my life. I lost my health, my money, and my peace of mind. Do not go near this place.

What was supposed to be a routine dental procedure turned into a nightmare. Her bite was completely ruined — all her teeth were misaligned, and cement was left between her teeth. Despite voicing her concerns multiple times, the clinic refused to acknowledge their mistakes or offer a proper solution. They unnecessarily removed her front teeth and gave her three root canals, yet she is still in severe pain. Not only was the work done incorrectly, but the aftercare and communication were shockingly unprofessional and dismissive. She was left feeling helpless and broken, both physically and mentally — to the point that it seriously impacted her mental health. This clinic caused irreversible damage and refused to take accountability. Please think twice before trusting Dentsun with your health. If you value your smile, your well-being, and your peace of mind — go elsewhere.

As a dermatology nurse in the UK, I am highly trained in aseptic technique and patient care, and I was shocked by the lack of professionalism, hygiene, and compassion I experienced at Dentsun in Izmir. I had 24 crowns placed, and I’ve been in pain ever since. The crowns were applied in blocks rather than individually, making it nearly impossible to clean properly, causing bad odour, and posing major long-term hygiene issues. If one crown fails, the entire block would need to be replaced — a fact that was never discussed with me beforehand. Cement is left between my teeth, some crowns are not sealed properly, and my bite is completely misaligned. I was also charged £200 for a mouth guard that was poorly made, and was missing sections. This level of work is unacceptable by any standard. Hygiene practices were even more concerning. At one point, a dentist dropped a piece of equipment on the floor, picked it up, sprayed it with cleaning solution, and was about to use it in my mouth. I had to demand that they open a new sterile one. As someone with professional medical training, this was a major red flag and absolutely unacceptable. Multiple dentists worked on me, and staff became visibly annoyed when I pointed out mistakes or asked for things to be replaced. They began saying things just to pacify me, including promising that they would make new teeth and not reuse the old ones — which turned out to be lies. They never sent my bottom crowns to the lab and intended to put the old ones back in, despite my complaints. Only the front top 6 block of crowns were sent back for adjustment, as they did not fit properly. When I returned for a review due to ongoing pain, they were reluctant to take off the crowns, especially at the back. They eventually removed the front crowns and performed three root canals at the front alone, which I felt in extreme pain despite having had numbing — likely due to an infection that they failed to detect. I was shaking from head to toe, crying throughout the procedure, and left the clinic emotionally and physically distraught. They insisted I stay longer for treatment but refused to cover the cost of my hotel or flight, and even told me I would have to pay extra if I wanted the crowns made individually, despite the block crowns being the cause of many of my issues. This was by far the worst medical and dental experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been left in pain, out of pocket, emotionally distressed, and now face the daunting task of having everything redone properly elsewhere. I strongly advise anyone considering Dentsun to think twice. If you value your health, safety, and dignity, go elsewhere. This clinic did not meet even basic standards of care.
