My experience with the entire hospital staff was incredibly positive. Right from the start, communication via WhatsApp was very clear and practical. They even picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. The whole process of my eye surgery was well-explained and monitored by the professionals from start to finish. I had Lasik surgery with Dr. Efekan and stayed on the 13th floor, where the staff was so caring and helped me with everything I needed. The hospital’s infrastructure is clean and modern, and the rooms are spacious. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the team. Even after returning to my country, I can still clear up any questions about my recovery process via WhatsApp with Dr. Efekan, who is always very polite and professional. I’ll definitely be back for my follow-up exams.

I had an incredible experience at Medicana in Turkey. From the moment I arrived, all staff were professional, warm, and genuinely caring. The doctors were extremely thorough with their examinations, taking the time to ensure everything was clearly explained and that I felt comfortable every step of the way. My surgeon Mehmet Karabulut was absolutely wonderful — kind, reassuring, and highly skilled. They put me completely at ease, which made such a difference during what could have been a very stressful time. Thank you Faysal Sayed our interpreter who was amazing from beginning to end. They supported us throughout the entire journey, making communication effortless and even ensuring we got safely to the airport. That level of care and attention truly stood out. I’m incredibly grateful to the entire team at Medicana for their professionalism, compassion, and outstanding care.

Well what can I say but ......you beauty,this place cared for me on my bariatric journey along with an assisted group through Neia Medical team.The service from Medicanna was amazing from meeting the team Faisal Sayed Sabir , Fatima Zehara Farina, Zaid Fliti & Nidanur Alagas the dietician at the doors to the elegant hospital filled with competent and and efficient nurses with 1st class service all the way. Our coordinator Gul was also instrumental with her strategic planning and the master Dr Mehmet Karabulut doing surgery on a 230kg man after a strenuous thorough checkup by 7 different doctors to get the all clear this in itself was incredible. I had my gastric sleeve surgery in Istanbul with Dr Erkan & the Medicana team & I can confidently say the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning communication was clear, supportive & consistent. My consultant Fatima is incredible & was always available to answer my questions no matter how small. She made the whole process feel smooth & stress free especially as someone that had travelled on her own from Australia. At the hospital the professionalism of Dr Erkan & the Medicana team immediately put me to ease. Everything was organized, & efficient. A bonus was my large private ensuite room. I felt safe & well cared for throughout the entire process. A special mention goes out to Faysall my translator who was absolutely awesome. He ensured I fully understood every step of the journey. His support along with my other translator Zaid made a huge difference in my overall comfort. Even after returning home I continue to receive updates & guidance on my diet from the dietitian Nida. This ongoing support has been invaluable in helping me stay on track & adjust to my new lifestyle. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The combo of medical care, awesome communication & continuous aftercare support has made this journey a very positive one. I highly recommend Dr Erkan & the Medicana team to anyone considering gastric sleeve surgery.

I am currently here in Istanbul post Gastric Sleeve surgery 3 days ago with Dr Arkan, an amazing and very experienced bariatric surgeon. My journey has been exceptional and the experience has been an eye opener. The interpreter’s Zaid and Faysal have supported me through my journey regularly checked on me to follow up with any concerns or questions that i may have. Staff are wonderful and the hospital rooms are very spacious and clean, I absolutely recommend Medicana for your future Gastric Sleeve procedures. Please be mindful and respectful, you’re coming to a country where English is second language. Be patient with staff and do not get frustrated easily over miscommunication. (Use a translator app or request an interpreter) Medically this hospital is top notch and the level of care and services provided is to high standards.
