My wife and I traveled from Los Angeles, California to Istanbul specifically for a Full Body Check-Up at Liv Hospital Ulus, and we were truly impressed by the outstanding quality of service and medical care. From the moment we entered the facility, everything exceeded our expectations — from the modern, hotel-level environment to the professionalism of the entire staff. We underwent a comprehensive health screening, which included extensive blood tests, ultrasounds of the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, and breasts, as well as ECG, fluorography, and consultations with a dietitian, cardiologist, and internal medicine doctor. The process was smooth, well-organized, and incredibly efficient. In addition to the regular check-up, I requested an examination by an ENT specialist, Dr. Elçin Aritürk, as I’ve struggled with breathing issues due to a deviated septum my entire life. After a detailed examination, the doctor confirmed the need for surgery. Since this type of procedure is not covered by my insurance in Los Angeles (being considered cosmetic) and costs around $16k there, I decided to proceed with the operation here at Liv Hospital. The cost here was just $4k, which also included one night of accommodation. Today is the seventh day after surgery, and I’ve just had the silicone tubes removed from my nose — it has truly been life-changing. For the first time in my life, I can breathe freely through my nose. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Aritürk for her incredible care, expertise, and compassion. Her approach was phenomenal and absolutely professional. The hospital itself is on a world-class level — much higher in quality than most medical centers we’ve experienced in California. The rooms, service, and medical technology are all top-tier. The cost-to-quality ratio is unmatched, and in fact, the quality far surpasses the price. We are extremely satisfied with our experience. We would also like to give special thanks to our translator and coordinator, Tatyana Kulak, who was by our side throughout the entire process. She translated everything from Turkish to Russian, offered constant support, and ensured we felt comfortable and cared for at every step. Her assistance was invaluable and added a personal touch that made the entire experience even more seamless. After researching and calling five different hospitals, we chose Liv Hospital because of its fair pricing and excellent reputation and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. This will now become a yearly tradition for us, and we will definitely return for our annual check-ups. Highly recommended to anyone considering high-quality medical care abroad. My experience at LiV Hospital exceeded my expectations, thanks to the exceptional care and support provided by the team. Dr. Cagatay Ozturk’s extensive knowledge and warm, patient manner made me feel at ease throughout my treatment. I appreciated the personalized approach. Khatia- the translator was incredibly helpful, explaining complex medical details in a way that was clear and reassuring. Overall, Liv hospital’s modern facilities and welcoming atmosphere contributed significantly to my positive experience. The staff was attentive and professional.

My father and I spent about 6 weeks in Istanbul for radiotherapy for him under the oncology department. The experience has been quite interesting. The staff who was in communication with our family, Mohammed, was superb. He was very helpful with accommodation, and especially with getting our visa as Voya Visa in Nigeria wasted a whole month after our visas were approved without contacting us. He was able to reach out to a Turkish staff member there who was helpful. I am grateful for that. Transfer from the airport to the accomodation was good, and same applies for transfers to and from the hospital. The drivers were different, most of them were very friendly, unfortunately, I do not know their names, but I appreciate them. However, there were 2 in particular who were rude on a few occasions, one of which cut deep. He refused my father sitting in the front (it is free seating, and sitting at the back makes my dad sick, to the point of throwing up, which had happened a couple of times), this deeply annoyed me and I reported it, I hope something will be done about it, for future patients. That aside, the main doctor, Dr. Fayda, was professional and open to all questions. He could be a bit warmer. His receptionist however, rude. Not responsive, only to translators, and not because of language gap. There were other receptionists in other departments who shared the same odd attitude. This should be checked by the hospital. It is an international hospital, so there will be international patients. This doubles the job, to do the work and make people feel a bit more at ease. Please take note as this can strongly affect referrals and ratings. The hospital itself is clean, looks good, has a food spot, and a lot of water outlets, pharmacy delivery of medicine to the hospital, and an ATM at the back. That is the negative part done. :) I would like to use this platform to appreciate the two ladies who took my father in for his sessions. He felt very loved and taken care of. We appreciate you. I would like to thank Mohammed once more for his help, and for connecting me to Arrayan and Ainel who showed me a bit of Istanbul in their free time. I appreciate you. I would like to thank and appreciate Ugur, who left Liv hospital, but took great care of my dad, and made him feel at ease (he was the first person we met). I would like to thank Alex who made sure that everything was seamless; transfers, medicine collection, payments, sessions. Last but definitely not the least, I am thankful to Salih. He's a hardworking and warm translator who went above and beyond for us to make everything easy. Communication from him was very clear and detailed. He would explain steps thoroughly and make sure that our needs were met. We are very grateful. This is a good hospital with hardworking staff who try to make things easy for patients. I would recommend. And if you are looking to come here, I wish you and yours full recovery.

The Stem cell theraphy department is amazing, the doctor and the nurse team. Also what makes our stays at the hospital good, was the Translator.his Name is Abdallah, Abdallah was porofessionall in the best level, even when i get unhappy with some services he makes me explain and comfort me. The only area that needs improvement is the reception area for patient admission unit.. staff there act unprofessional and they dont look your face ,they dont smile. They dont even try to communicate with u . The hospital is clean and beautiful. If they improve the customer service at the reception area will be good..

I had a great experience at Liv Hospital Ulus. I traveled to Istanbul from overseas to undergo a PET-CT scan there. Everything was exceptionally well-organized! First, I had a conversation via WhatsApp with the Russian-speaking coordinator, where we discussed the preferred date of my visit, the procedure, and the pricing. I was also asked for the exact date and time of my flight, as well as the address of the hotel where I planned to stay, in order to arrange the transfer. I was then introduced to the wonderful Russian-speaking translator, Katerina, who assisted us every step of the way and was always available to help. A transfer was arranged from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the hospital and back the next day, and finally to the airport on my last day in Istanbul. Katerina met us at the reception and accompanied us to the PET Department. She was with me during my consultation with the doctor before the PET-CT scan and explained every step of the procedure in detail. I received the PET-CT results within four working days, with an English translation provided the following day. I want to express my deep gratitude to Katerina and Liv Hospital for their great help with such a sensitive matter. I would definitely return to Liv Hospital for a comprehensive check-up next year.
