Dunyagoz Hospital

I went to DunyaGoz for SMILE lasik eye surgery with Dr. Volkan Matben. He was very professional and spoke English. I went in for my consultation and I was approved for the surgery. So, I had it done the same day. This might be the same for all, but my recovery time was amazing!! I went in for the surgery prep at 1:30pm for paperwork, payment, and getting ready. I was out of the surgery by 2:15pn. The surgery takes maybe less than 15 minutes for both eyes. I had lots of light sensitivity afterward. But by 8pm I could see perfectly clear, with eyes wide open. If you are thinking of having lasik consultation or surgery, I would highly recommend Dunya Göz.

I travelled from the UK to get laser surgery with Cem Alay. It's a proper hospital, Cem is a fantastic opthalmologist, he's experienced and passionate about what he does. Not only this, I am phobic of hospitals but the hospital looks so modern and luxe, it doesn't trigger my phobia at all. Cem and all of the staff are so calming, they don't rush you, they take the time to make sure you understand what is going on, Cem speaks fluent English so you won't have to panic or wonder what's going on. Long story short, I had a great experience, I have perfect vision now, the aftercare went well, the procedure went perfectly and takes less than a minute per eye. Definitely worth the trip if you want laser in Turkey. I didn't know what laser I would have when I arrived, your eyes will be assessed for the most appropriate procedure and everything will be explained. Thanks to the amazing team at DunyaGoz for taking care of me throughout!

Wait times are too long for a private hospital and hospital itself does not have computerized queue system you dont know when you are going to be called in.

The front desk team Derya Hanım, Ebru Hanım, Ezgi Hanım and my doctor, Dr. Sertaç Öztürk was extremely thorough and knowledgeable during my visit. The Doctor took the time to explain my diagnosis of in clear, reassuring language and answered all my questions patiently. I felt genuinely cared for, not rushed. The front desk team was also wonderful—friendly, efficient, and professional from start to finish. They helped me schedule my appointment quickly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. If you need eye care, I highly recommend Dünya Göz. The staff here truly goes above and beyond for their patients. Thank you to Dr and the entire team for such excellent service!

Saw Dr Sertac Öztürk today for a check up as it’s been over 10 years since my lazer surgery. He was great as always, very professional him and his whole team at the front desk also.
