On August 10, 2024, I went for a dental checkup with Dr. Hasan İrfan Uludağ (Chief Physician) at the Forbes Avrupadent Dental Clinic in Buca, and he told me I needed a root canal. I then had a root canal treatment that lasted 2-3 sessions. About a month after the treatment, I started experiencing minor pain. Since I don't live in Izmir, I couldn't go for a checkup. Eleven months have passed, and a few days ago, I started experiencing minor pain in my root canal-treated tooth, and today, the pain has intensified. I went to a different clinic for an endodontist for the same tooth, and he told me the tooth was painful due to a failed root canal treatment, that the root canal treatment couldn't be repeated, and that it would need to be extracted. I had an unsuccessful root canal treatment. Because of the dentist's failure, a tooth that could have been saved with root canal treatment will need to be extracted. And Hasan is the chief physician, which is ridiculous. So, don't be fooled by his position as a chief physician or his high clinic rating. They know how to charge the highest prices, but when it comes to workmanship, they offer mediocre workmanship.

I called over the weekend to request an urgent appointment after my tooth broke, and they were incredibly helpful and understanding. The friendliness of both the staff and my doctor, Serhan, was invaluable. They resolved my issue and contacted me a few days later to get a response about the procedure. Thank you, Avrupadent.
