In August 2025, while on vacation in Turkey, my father, who is 76 years old, broke his leg. He had to have his hip replaced. Fortunately, we had health insurance, and we didn't have to pay a cent! The operation was performed quickly, successfully and with high quality in this hospital, and the postoperative care was very attentive. A truly qualified team worked so that we could safely return home. We thank Dr. Arif Suleyman Hatay, Aleksandra and the whole team!

I ended up in the hospital in the evening with my 20-month-old child, who was vomiting severely — dehydrated and suffering. After paying €1900, we were admitted and some tests were performed: blood count, CRP, and urine analysis. Although the results were practically normal, the doctor claimed that the child had a kidney infection and suggested a very strong third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. If it hadn’t been for the fact that I am a doctor myself and refused the antibiotic treatment, my child — already weakened by a stomach virus — would have received a strong antibiotic without any indication. I consider the doctor’s level of knowledge to be below basic. She did not speak English, despite working in a PRIVATE HOSPITAL for tourists and serving hotels full of international guests. Her attitude and behavior were also far from friendly. Additionally, at 3 a.m., I didn’t go through the bill that was issued to me. Now, reviewing it calmly, I see that it is full of overcharges. My child received one dose of an antiemetic medication, yet the bill lists three doses (each €63) — this is nothing but an abuse. Overall, the hospital seems well aware that tourists have no other option but to go there, and its main goal appears to be making as much money as possible. The only thing I can agree with from other reviews is that it’s definitely worth having good insurance.

*tourists* Avoid this hospital at all costs. Our experience here was extremely upsetting, unprofessional, and felt completely exploitative. We brought a 3-year-old child who was simply dizzy from not eating, yet the hospital demanded a €5,000 deposit before even looking at him. They gave us confusing and frightening information, first suggesting a possible brain bleed, then saying everything was fine after a CT scan, and then suddenly claiming he had a “serious infection.” None of this was consistent with how the child actually looked or behaved. The entire process felt focused on pushing unnecessary tests and maximizing charges, rather than actually caring for the child. The staff showed little compassion, and the communication was extremely poor, causing a lot of stress and fear for the family. The hospital is also connected with a private ambulance that charged €300 for a 6-minute trip, which only added to the feeling that this was all about money, not medical care. This was one of the worst medical experiences we have ever had. If you are a tourist, I strongly recommend going to a public (government) hospital instead, where you’ll be treated properly and fairly.

I attended the Anatolia doctor at the IC Hotel in Belek around 8 pm. The nurse was friendly, called the doctor and took my Turkish ID. So far, no problems—though they charged the daytime rate for a Turkish patient and an evening rate, which still seemed okay. When I asked how much it would be, she said about 5,900 lira. I agreed, then mentioned I was from London; the price was immediately bumped to 8,000 lira. I raised it with hotel management, but they claimed it was an “undifferentiated” company. I told them that’s not right—they’re in the hotel and basically ripping people off. Customer service said they’d raise the issue. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and don’t want a big drama, but I do feel the hospital is overcharging.

We came to the hospital to receive help, my Dad had a big wound on his leg, but we not only haven’t received any treatment, we were treated SO BADLY that I don’t even have proper words to explain this. The Staff of the hospital were EXTREMELY RUDE to us, and didn’t have any will to help. They asked to fill more than 5 useless documentation papers, and were demanding more than a 1000 EUR forward payment WITHOUT even looking at the wound. People, never come to this hospital if you want to be treated.
