Friendly and competent local private hospital. Yes they will charge you and you need to get your insurance details ready. But then, you will get a great health service at no time and at the fraction of the cost you'd have back home.

Our Daughter needed a tetanus shot while we were here on holiday for a bad scrape to her leg. The staff here were incredibly helpful and understanding and we were seen very quickly. There's also a local pharmacy just outside for any medication you need afterwards. Just remember to take your passport with you to the hospital if you are here on holiday. Çok Teşekkür Ederim!

Avoid at all costs – Shocking experience at Ahu Hospital (Marmaris) I went to the emergency room at Ahu Hospital around 9:30 PM because my daughter had been suffering from severe abdominal pain for several days, along with repeated vomiting and extreme weakness. She was admitted, had a blood test done, and was put on an IV drip. The results showed a low blood glucose level, which was confirmed by a trusted pediatrician I consulted. Despite this, the hospital staff started to alarm us, saying they couldn’t feel her pulse, that she needed to stay several more days, and insisted that we contact our insurance provider to arrange for a longer hospital stay. They also said she wouldn’t be allowed to travel without the doctor’s approval — even though my pediatrician clearly stated that an IV drip was sufficient. A nurse later came into the room and pressured me to sign documents I didn’t understand. It became clear that the staff’s focus had shifted from caring for my daughter to pushing insurance-related paperwork. They no longer paid real attention to her condition — a clear sign that her situation wasn’t as critical as they claimed. After the IV was finished, we decided to leave the hospital and signed a discharge form, because we no longer trusted the process. But the worst part: we were charged over €750 for a blood test and an IV drip — just three hours in the ER. A friend helped analyze the bill, and we discovered that they had listed treatments that were never administered, and inflated the prices by a factor of seven. This is outrageous. A formal complaint will be sent to Belgian insurance companies to warn them and ensure they advise their clients to avoid this hospital. My advice: stay away from this place. Always ask for clear explanations of any documents you’re asked to sign, and use translation tools if needed. Don’t let yourself be taken advantage of.

Money grabbing is the best way to describe them. No discharge paperwork which I need for insurance claim. No proper documentation and rude staff. Simple ambulances to hospital and discharges in 10 mins Astronomical bill and then promises to send paperwork by email. Still not received it 4 days later. How are these hospitals regulated? Avoid at all costs

Absolutely shocking customer service - visited Dr Servet Baysal a few days ago I asked if she could speak English she said yes so I begun - to be stopped a few seconds later to be told she doesn't understand my language, my husband who is fluent in Turkish and English offered to translate she ignored him and went and got a English lady who worked there who was actually really nice to me I was grateful for her As I'm explaining my issue the Dr was rude and kept interrupting me and not allowing me to talk - it's like she knew my body better then myself she was so rude !!! Sent me for ultrasound and had to return my results back to her nurse who stood in the hall way called the doctor on the telephone and read out all the results in front of other patients waiting to be seen I was shocked there was no privacy and no respect 🙄 Then was told they want to do a biopsy which will be 40,000 lira which is totally unnecessary as I know what the issue is I've suffered with it all my life I just wanted some advice really but was totally dismissed I have never known such rudeness the lady in the ultrasound reception kept telling me i wasn't ready to be scanned and my bladder wasn't full when i was actually on the verge of wetting myselfand she continued to make me wait nearly an hour i was in pain - I spent 7,000 lira to be treated poorly and to be told what I'm feeling instead of them listening to me and helping me absolutely disgusting customer service
