My experience at Acıbadem Bodrum Hastanesi was outstanding from beginning to end. The hospital operates with a high level of professionalism, organization, and genuine patient care. The entire nursing team was excellent — attentive, respectful, and consistently supportive throughout my stay. I truly appreciate the effort and dedication of every member of the team. However, I would like to give special recognition to Nurse Hazal. She truly stood out. Her attentiveness, compassion, and attention to detail were exceptional. She didn’t just do her job — she made sure I felt reassured, comfortable, and fully supported at all times. Her professionalism and positive attitude had a real impact on my overall experience. Thank you to the whole team for maintaining such a high standard of care. I am sincerely grateful.

Our child got sick while we were on vacation, so we sought help at Acibadem Bodrum Hospital. Dr. Ali Muslu examined us; he is a highly skilled specialist who prescribed the right treatment. He was very kind, visited us frequently, and provided all necessary information. The nurses were also very kind and ready to answer any questions 24/7 with a smile. The hospital is very clean and well-equipped with everything needed. We were also assigned a translator so we wouldn’t have to struggle with the language. What I didn’t like is that they operate on a “payment first, treatment later” principle. Even though we had coverage with Allianz insurance, communication between the insurance company and the hospital was very difficult. I had to call Allianz repeatedly to speed things up because our child was in very poor health, and we are talking about a four-year-old. This, of course, was not the doctor’s or the nurses’ fault but rather the hospital policy, as they fear they might not get paid. It was extremely upsetting because on several occasions staff came to tell me that they still hadn’t received approval from the insurance and could not proceed. In the end, we signed a document stating that we would personally cover the costs in case of any delay. Two hospital visits and one overnight stay in a room, with abdominal tests, blood tests, and medications including antibiotics and fever medication, cost about 5,000 euros, which is too much. My advice: never travel to Turkey without additional health insurance. In the end, we managed to resolve everything with Allianz, but the moments when they told us they wouldn’t treat our child until payment was made were extremely stressful.

Excellent service all around in this hospital, from labs and diagnostics to all service personnel we encountered. Dr. Aydın Aksoy is an excellent cardiologist. He’s knowledgeable, experienced, respectful, and takes the time to listen and understand one’s concerns. He does not talk over you, or talk at you like many doctors. All around a great experience withthe hospital and staff. Highly recommend.

I have recently undergone a serious brain surgery at Acibadem Bodrum Hospital. I was truly fortunate to be in the hands of an excellent and highly experienced brain surgeon who is not only extremely knowledgeable but also deeply caring toward his patients. From the moment of admission until discharge, every step of my treatment was handled with professionalism, compassion, and remarkable attention to detail. The quality of medical care and hospital services here easily exceeds that of many hospitals in Europe. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire hospital team — the nurses, caregivers, cleaning staff, and patient service personnel — for their kindness, patience, and genuine dedication. They made me feel safe, supported, and cared for throughout my recovery. Overall, I am deeply grateful and very satisfied with my experience at Acibadem Bodrum Hospital.

To this lousy business, DO NOT contact my sick mother and try to intimidate her! !!!!!*** Below is the Second Review Post the call my mom received upon The Money Machine people sees it****!!!!! BTW While I was still in Turkey I spoke to the hospital a few times about the unpleasant experience we had. No-one with any kind of decision making authority called or checked in. It was all front desk people. After my review, the Chief of Medicine called my mother and questioned her why did we make an appointment with the expert we saw, even thou several times I told them this was their own online service's advice due to the complaints of my mom I told them. He went on to telling her that "she is looking for a magic wand to heal her". Let alone a COM of a so called hospital, any decent human being would not say such disrespectful thing to a patient, let alone one who is nearly 70 year old and in constant pain. Here is what is going to happen next on our end, I have contacted authorities and a lawyer for malpractice and improper language. I will also seek a full refund for the charges we have already paid. I am considering taking it to the court to constitute an example case to avoid these kind of rude behaviors for patients in the future. As my communication is recorded and this experience is utterly unpleasant, I also am in contact with a content creator who is also a victim of said business, creating content mistreating many patience. To the person who spoke to my mother; Hope you find that magic wand to make this better for all as this time you pick the wrong guy. First Review which made the hospital Chief of Medicine called my mother; I took my mom here and I am convinced that this is not a hospital it is a money making machine. by the suggestion of online consultants, I took my mom ( Bodrum local/ Turkish Citizen) to this hospital to see a brain surgeon. One of the first things the professor said was " this is not my area of expertise" and suggested that we see another expert. Regardless of his initial thought he did not hold back to order an MR Scan. He confirmed there is nothing he can do to help my mom with her concern and suggested we see a rheumatologist. When I tried to make another appointment, they demanded another fee to see the new doctor. After explaining what happened, I asked them to waive the fee since the doctor did not really helped us. After a day of "we will get back to you" calls it was certain that they were not going to waive the fee. I mentioned that since I am not an expert on this matter and if we need to see 15 doctors to find the right expert, would they charge us 15 times, they had no answer. I suggest people to make sure that you have the right doctor to see otherwise they will charge you even if the doctor doesn't do anything and tell you to go see another doctor. Also they charge higher fees for the international patients. I don't know why it costs more to see a non-Turk. It is clear to me that their main focus is to make money.
