Dr Sinan Gulec

I do not recommend choosing this doctor for a vaginal breech birth. My daughter was born in breech presentation. After birth, she was not breathing on her own and did not cry. She was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she spent 15 days. She required therapeutic hypothermia due to a hypoxic injury sustained at birth. I still do not understand why a high-risk breech delivery was managed at Liv Vadi Hospital, where therapeutic hypothermia is not available. As a result, my newborn daughter had to be urgently transferred to another hospital without me during the first hours of her life. For our family, this was an additional traumatic experience during an already devastating time. I also have concerns regarding the management of labor. I spent many hours in water that felt extremely hot, and I did not see the water temperature being measured or monitored by the medical staff. During this time, my body temperature increased, and I was given a Parol tablet by the medical staff. This further reinforced my concerns that the pool temperature may not have been appropriately monitored. During the final stage of labor, I felt increasing pressure to accelerate the birth because nearly 24 hours had passed since my waters had broken. At a time when I did not yet feel a natural urge to push, pressure was applied to my abdomen (Kristeller maneuver/fundal pressure), and other interventions were used in an effort to move labor forward. This created a sense of urgency that, in my view, was not justified, and I believe more time should have been allowed for labor to progress naturally rather than focusing on an arbitrary time limit. I also believe that when managing planned vaginal breech births, it is essential to ensure that comprehensive neonatal intensive care services are immediately available on-site in case of complications. Thankfully, my daughter is developing well today. However, based on my experience, I would not trust this doctor to manage another vaginal breech birth and would choose a different medical center. This review is based solely on my personal experience.

For years I struggled to have a child. Despite visiting many doctors, it was Dr. Sinan who first identified a health problem that no one else had noticed. Thanks to him, I had surgery, and then the greatest miracle of my life happened; I became pregnant with Derin. Throughout my pregnancy and childbirth, he was not only my doctor but also a trustworthy companion, and not just for me, but also for my husband, he was his most trusted supporter. We understood this even better when, at 24 weeks, he saved my daughter with his knowledge and experience. 🙏🏻 Although I was incredibly afraid of childbirth, thanks to his knowledge and support, I had an experience I couldn't even imagine. I had a water birth, and I held my daughter in my arms as soon as she was born. It was such a comfortable and beautiful birth experience. Just two hours after my contractions started, my miracle was in my arms. I will never forget that moment. 🫠 Besides Dr. Sinan, I would also like to thank dear Gökçe. Her constant smile, care, and warm approach made me feel comfortable. He plays a huge role in the peace that fills me every time I come to his office. Sometimes, what makes a healthcare journey special isn't just the treatment, but the trust and sincerity you feel. Having experienced such a special journey, I entrusted two more friends to Dr. Sinan, and they also had a wonderful experience. Our only problem now is that, having become so accustomed to Dr. Sinan's care, we can't find another pediatrician as caring and experienced as him 😂 Ah, Dr. Sinan, we miss you so much 🌸🫠 Every time I look at Derin today, every time I think about this journey, I remember Dr. Sinan, who played such a role 🙏🏻 I'm so glad they came into my life. They touched my life, and I will never forget that. Thank you for being there 🌸🌸🌸

I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. Since it was my first pregnancy, I had a lot of worries and fears. So I started looking for a doctor I could trust throughout my pregnancy, including the birth, and I came across Dr. Sinan on social media. I immediately contacted his assistant and made an appointment. I have to mention; his assistant, Ms. Gökçe, is also very sweet :) Although my husband and most people around me said there were doctors closer to my home, I didn't listen to anyone and went to see Dr. Sinan. I only told him that I wanted a water birth. I left everything else to his knowledge and experience. I'm so glad I did :) Thanks to him, I had a wonderful pregnancy until my 39th week, with his patience, calmness, and reassuring explanations. At 39+1 weeks, we had a much more beautiful water birth than I had imagined. I say "we" because even though my labor lasted for hours, Dr. Sinan and my midwives never left me alone. I never felt alone for a single moment. It turns out all those fears and anxieties I felt at the beginning of my pregnancy were unfounded... With the right doctor and an excellent team, the moment of childbirth can be a very special moment that brings a smile to your face whenever you remember it 🥹 My husband, who initially opposed it because of the distance, now says he wouldn't give up on Dr. Sinan even if we moved to a different city 😂 I'm so glad I met you, Dr. Sinan. Thank you so much to you and your team for everything 🤍 I wanted to share my experience here in case it might help expectant mothers who have just learned they are pregnant and have fears and anxieties...

From the moment I learned I was pregnant, I began searching for a doctor I could trust completely, someone I could rely on for myself and my baby. Knowing how important the birthing process was to me, I was very meticulous in my choice of doctor. A water birth was one of my biggest dreams, and I chose Dr. Sinan because of his experience in this area. From the first examination, I felt very comfortable thanks to his smiling face, calmness, attentiveness, and clear approach. Throughout my pregnancy, he patiently informed me about everything that concerned me and answered all my questions. I left each check-up feeling relieved and even more confident. During my pregnancy, I developed gestational diabetes, so we had to change our birth plans, and my dream of a water birth couldn't come true. Despite this, Dr. Sinan guided us at every stage to make the right decisions and managed the cesarean delivery process with utmost professionalism. Being able to trust your doctor during such an important time is truly priceless. Looking back today, even though my birth method changed, I can confidently say that I haven't regretted my choice of doctor for a single day. I would like to express my endless gratitude to Dr. Sinan for the trust, care, and support he gave me both during my pregnancy and childbirth. He is a very valuable physician who performs his profession with great dedication, and expectant mothers can choose him with peace of mind. I'm so glad our paths crossed. 🙏🏻💐

I had to change doctors when I was about 17 weeks pregnant. I found Dr. Sinan on Instagram and my husband and I decided to go for an appointment. From our first meeting, we were very pleased with his attentiveness, deep knowledge of his profession, his patient and understanding answers to all our questions, and his humane demeanor. As soon as we left the first appointment, we decided that Dr. Sinan would oversee my pregnancy. He was always supportive throughout all our appointments, and his positive and calm energy accompanied us until the birth. Most importantly, I could always reach him; knowing that my doctor was there for me in every emergency reassured me. I wanted a water birth, and thanks to Dr. Sinan, I was able to have a natural water birth. His belief in me and his support made me even stronger, and as a result, my birth went wonderfully and we welcomed our son. When I look at the photos, I only remember the day I gave birth with peace and happiness. I thank Dr. Sinan so much for this 🥹🙏🏻 Also, I would like to thank Dr. Sinan's assistant, the wonderful Gökçe, for her attention, understanding, and positivity.
