Dr Candan Hundemir

Op. Dr. Candan Hundemir is a Brain, Nerve and Spinal Cord Surgery Specialist (Neurosurgeon) with over three decades of medical experience. He was born in Antalya in 1969 and completed his education in İzmir. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1992.

Following graduation, he completed his compulsory medical service in Çankırı (1992–1994). He then undertook his Neurosurgery specialty training at Trakya University, completing his residency between 1994 and 2001. After working as a specialist neurosurgeon in both Balıkesir and Istanbul, he transitioned to the private healthcare sector in 2007, where he continues to practise.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hundemir has placed strong emphasis on continuous professional development and international standards. He participated in European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) training programmes for four consecutive years and successfully passed the European Board Examination. His advanced training includes multiple international courses in spinal surgery, minimally invasive techniques and cranial surgery.
